How to play Block Puzzle
- Drag a piece onto the board. The outline shows exactly where it will land. Release outside the board to cancel. You can also select a piece, tap a square for its top-left corner, then choose Place block.
- Fill a row or column to clear it. Pieces keep their orientation. Use all three pieces to receive the next tray.
- Each square placed earns 1 point. Clearing lines together earns 10 × the number of lines squared. Consecutive clearing moves add 5 extra points per step in the streak. A move without a clear resets the streak.
- The run ends when none of the remaining pieces fits. There is no time limit. Leave room for larger pieces and look at the whole tray before placing one.
How are the pieces chosen?
Every new tray has at least one sequence that fits the board when it is dealt, including any line clears. Where and in which order you place the pieces still matters: a different choice can leave no room for the rest. Pieces never change after they appear.
Can I play without dragging?
Yes. Select a piece, choose its top-left square and press Place block. With a keyboard, use 1, 2 or 3 to select a piece, arrow keys to position it, and Enter to place it. Escape cancels. The highlighted outline previews the move before you commit.
Will my game be saved?
Your current game is saved on this device when browser storage is available. Reopening the page lets you resume it. Clearing site data removes that progress. The timer pauses when you leave the tab; New game replaces your current board.
