How to play Solitaire
- Move all 52 cards to the four suit piles, building each from Ace to King.
- In the seven columns, place cards in descending order and alternate red and black. You can move a whole face-up sequence. Only a King can fill an empty column.
- Tap a card, then its destination, or drag it there. Double-click or double-tap a top card to send it to a suit pile when it fits.
- Tap the deck to draw more cards. When it is empty, tap it again to turn over the discard pile. You can go through the deck as often as you need.
Draw one or draw three?
Draw one turns over one card at a time and gives you more choices. Draw three turns over up to three, with only the top card available to play. Changing the draw mode starts a new deal after confirmation.
Is every deal winnable?
No. These are shuffled deals, not selected winning deals. Hint suggests a legal move or a draw; it does not solve the game or guarantee the best move. You can undo moves, including draws and turning the deck over, or restart the same deal.
What does Collect safe cards do?
It sends available Aces, Twos, and other cards that are no longer needed for building to their suit piles. It leaves the rest for you to play. Undo reverses the whole collection. This is a convenience, not a solver.
What does Finish game do?
When every card is face up and the deck and discard pile are empty, Finish game moves the remaining cards to their suit piles. Until then, you choose which cards to move. Undo takes back the whole finish, and remains available after a win.
Can I play with a keyboard?
Tab moves through the deck, suit piles, and columns. Arrow keys move between available cards. Enter or Space selects a card or places it; Escape cancels a selection. F sends a focused top card to a suit pile. Ctrl+Z or Command+Z undoes a move.
What happens when I restart or leave?
Restart deals the same cards again and resets the timer and move count. New game shuffles a fresh deck. Your current cards and draw mode are saved locally; up to 100 undo steps are saved when you leave. Restart clears the undo history.
Will my game be saved?
Your current game is saved on this device when browser storage is available. Reopening the page lets you resume it. Clearing site data removes that progress. The timer pauses when you leave the tab; New game replaces your current board.
